I recently went to Score on King, a restaurant dedicated to every Canadian's favourite brunch bevvy, the caesar.
The restaurant not only has caesars with traditional toppings like meat sticks and marinated string beans, but they are also notorious for their over-the-top caesars. I ordered the "Ain't No Thang" caesar, which was garnished with onion rings and chicken wings, while Sean got the "Grilled Chaeser" caesar, which was garnished with a grilled cheese sandwich and onion rings. Both caesars were great appetizers, but they were definitely not equivalent to a full meal, so we decided to share a plate of chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles were quite good, but I found that that bacon country gravy was quite heavy on an already heavy dish.
Score on King has a great atmosphere to chill out and load up on caesars. They have a large patio, which is the perfect place to spend a few hours on a nice summer evening. I definitely plan on going back to the restaurant the next time I'm craving a caesar.
